50 movies in 2013 [11/50] - cool as ice
oh my god, i can’t believe we watched this entire movie last night (rifftrax’d, but still).
this is really entertaining (and the rifftrax has some really good jokes). but this is one of the weirdest d-list vehicles i’ve ever seen, weirder even than chairman of the board. it has a bizarrely serious sub-plot involving kidnapping and the witness protection program, which is of course subordinate in all ways to myriad opportunities for vanilla ice to spin around and flail choreography at the camera. it’s lit like a very serious film - same cinematographer as schindler’s list, fyi - but of course, it’s cool as ice.
