THIS IS WHERE I GOT STUCK BECAUSE OF THE SKELETON THING!!!!

i just fought that boss this morning! you can use an x-potion on it to kill it instantly, but if you want to kill it for realsies, here are some tips:

• equip the fire ring on your strongest character (also have that character have restore-all and revive). equip ifrit-elemental on the armor of your second-strongest character (have that character have one of the enemy skill materias). put the other character in the back row.
• use white wind on it at the BEGINNING of the battle, with the character you have that has the most HP. white wind’s heal (or in this case, damage) is based on the amount of HP your character has left, so you’ll do the most damage this way. it also slows and puts darkness on the boss.
• after that, open with big guard and/or haste-all.
• don’t attack the flame things at all, waste of time.
• use cure 2 (or regen, if you have it) on the boss to damage it. use the trigger to target JUST the boss, don’t waste an all-cast on the enemies.
• don’t damage your HP by equipping much materia besides this, except for maybe a summon. don’t equip poison, the boss is immune to it.
